Entrepreneur of the Year!

Theresa Taylor Terry Sylvester congratulates Theresa Taylor, Entrepreneur of the Year (CIBC Wood Gundy Award Sponsor).

Theresa was honoured as " Entrepreneur of the Year" at the Cornwall & Area Chamber of Commerce 2001 Business Excellence Awards.

After 28 years in accounting and administration, Theresa left the security of a full time job to pursue her ambition as an auctioneer.

Working diligently, planning, researching and utilizing today's technology, Theresa has earned a reputation, among her clients and auction associates, for her commitment to service. A successful bid, from among five auctioneering firms, gave Theresa a breakthrough auction in October 2001 of the Foley Estate of Westport, Ontario.

"Theresa's personality shines through her bid calling". Successful auctions don't just happen - Theresa continues to educate and develop her skills to enhance her complete auction service.

"It's hard to be at a loss for words when you're an auctioneer," said Theresa as she received the prestigious award of Entrepreneur of the Year. Recognizing the assistance of mentors from the business community and auction affiliations, Theresa thanked all who contributed to her achievement
